Radio Advertising Targets College Students - 646 Words
Companies use various media strategies to reach their target markets. Whether the company is using an in-house or external advertising group, a media plan has to be put in place. An advertising analysis helps outline the advertising strategy to include what media will be used and sets the budget. A company may even hire a media agency to handle the media planning and buying. Mediums of advertising include television, radio, magazines, newspaper, and outdoor advertising. Advertisers select the appropriate media mix for their campaign factoring in reach and frequency. Television continues to have the largest influence on consumers (Clow Baack, 2014, p. 217). Radio also has its advantages as consumers are often listening to it as they are stuck in traffic. Life of Americans in the 1930s in John Stienbecks of Mice and Men/Original Writing What does John Stienbecks Of Mice and Men tell us about life in America in the 1930s? John Steinbecks novels can all be classified as social novels dealing with the economic problems of rural labour in America during the 1920s and 30s. Steinbeck uses setting, theme, characterisation, and a modernist simple style to portray a 1930s American society, which was isolating, alienating and prejudiced His frequent topics were the plight of the misfits, (the character of Lennie in the novel) the homeless and the migrant farm workers. The countryside described in the opening chapter of the novel and the ranchâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Candy an old farm worker joins in their dream when he offers his savings as down payment in return for being included. Spose I went in with you guys. Thas three hundred an fifty bucks id put in. The emotive story line of the dream with each character starting to believe it may just happen is all the more tragic as it is bound to fail. We learn early on in the novel that something bad happened in Weed and that they had to leave. An you aint gonna do no bad things like you did in Weed, neither. (George tells Lennie.) Steinbeck therefore has already set the scene for us to start doubting that their dream will be achieved, to question: will Lennie get them into trouble again? Steinbeck has set the wheels in motion for us to assume that howeve r hard they try it is bound to fail one way or another. The moment Curlys wife enters the barn we know something bad is going to happen. Steinbeck has interwoven the idea from the very beginning of the novel. The dead mouse Lennie had in his pocket, the death of Candys dog, and the accidental killing of the puppy. All these incidents pre-figure the tragedy in the climax of the novel. Lennie, childlike and As strong as a bull, will ultimately be the reason their dream will fail Steinbeck makes us aware of the prejudice

Answer Solution on DBA SWOT Analysis and Research Findings
Question: Discuss about the DBA SWOT Analysis for Research Findings. Answer: Strength I possess great leadership skills, and that will largely help me in realizing my future ambitions. I am not only capable of managing my own projects, but I can also successfully carry out administrative management rules. I am very punctual and I am hardly late in finishing up my projects or tasks. I am self-disciplined and always motivated to experiment with innovative ideas. I have great communication skills, both intrapersonal as well as interpersonal. I have great research skills, and I can communicate my thoughts as well as findings in a lucid style, through my case studies and research papers (Denscombe, 2014). Weakness I am not able to cope up with stress, and I easily get anxious and depressed, in case I have to handle multiple tasks. I lack patience skills I lack co-operation skills, and I prefer to work on my projects, on my own rather than sharing the same, with others. I am unable to accept criticism Opportunity I will be able to develop my practical knowledge and personal skills. It will help me to become industry ready I can learn and enhance my knowledge from the senior faculties. Threat The completion of the whole course involves a huge expense I may be over-qualified to be employed in a private organization Many unemployed professionals will be competing for the same position (Ishak Bakhar, 2014). Reason of Pursuing the DBA Course: I am willing to pursue the Doctorate of Business Administration, as it will help me in getting a competitive edge, while looking for a job. The completion of the DBA course will largely help me in earning professional competence required for a job. The recruiting authorities are more likely to recruit someone with a doctorate degree, rather than one with a master degree (MBA). Apart from my professional advancement, the completion of the course will also help me in sharpening my research skills, and developing my decision-making abilities. Further, it will also help me to use the knowledge acquired for running my own business, thereby improving my wealth and fortune as well (Mayer, 2016). Goals: I am willing to pursue the degree, because I intend to fulfill a few objectives of my life, as soon as I complete the degree. The first and foremost of them, is that I want to become a member of the research community. I intend to contribute my novel ideas, acquired in the process of my course, to the development of the business research theories. The DBA program will not be just a degree for me, as I intend to consider it more as a mission of acquiring and transmitting my knowledge for future purpose. My next goal is to apply the theoretical knowledge I practical life, and I intend to implement the forecasting in the governments budget process. Apart from this, as soon as I complete the degree, I intend to use my decision-making skills and practical knowledge, for getting myself qualified for senior- level leadership positions (Dubrin, 2015). Strengths and Challenges: I believe that self-confidence and self-discipline are two important personal attributes that will largely help me complete the course with great success. I have already written and submitted various research articles, and that has helped me gain huge confidence in researching on any topic. Self-discipline along with the integrity to the tasks or research assignments at hand can help me in becoming academically as well as professionally successful. I have got impressive and excellent communication skills, which will help me in working on research articles in collaboration with my friends and peers. I also possess great intrapersonal skills, whereby I believe I will be able to employ self-reflection for the purpose of developing innovative ideas (OLeary, 2013). I also believe that my strategic thinking capacity, my leadership skills as well as my entrepreneurial skills will endow me with the creativity and technical understanding that is required for a DBA course. However, I am very i mpatient, and at the same time, I am unable to persevere, in case I encounter failure. However, each of my assignments or research projects, may not turn out to be an immediate success, and I will need to retain composure (Harned, 2015). However, I lose my focus, and feel discouraged if I do not succeed in the first attempt, and this may lead to discontinuation of the DBA course. I cannot face criticism, and any kind of negative feedback de-motivates me. Self-assessment for Overcoming the Challenges: For the successful completion of the degree, I must be able to rectify and overcome the weakness of my character. I will need to develop patience, and for that I have to practice meditation. I will need to focus on the immediate goals and objectives I am working at a time, instead of focusing in the larger picture. With the help of practice I will try to develop my mental strength that will help me to persevere at tough times (Harned, 2015). At the end of each day, I will keep a note of the positive as well as negative feedback I am receiving from others, o that I do not get easily de-motivated, and yet learn from my mistakes. Conclusion: The acquisition of the DBA degree will help me in developing my professional research skills, as a result of which I will be able to solve industry and management problems easily. While endowing me with the research skills, the degree will assist me in developing my professional opportunities. Reference List: Denscombe, M.
